1 box farfalle (bow tie) noodles
1 jar Alfredo sauce
1-2 tbsp pesto
1 package smoked sausage
- Cook the noodles for 10-12 minutes.
- Cut the sausage into bite-sized pieces. Cook the sausage in a medium/large skillet until border-line burnt.
- When the sausage is cooked, add the Alfredo sauce to the skillet, stir in the pesto, and heat.
- Strain the noodles and add to the skillet. Stir thoroughly.
This is possibly the easiest pasta dish to make, but it is delicious. And it will make your house smell good (the pesto!). A good friend taught me how to make it–her parents were coming home late and we needed to make dinner for her two younger brothers. It certainly was a hit, and it’s been my go-to pasta ever since!
