Hannah (Just Bee writer and our new contributor!) and I have been friends for a very long time. Our lives have taken us down different paths, but we do our best to make time to catch up. Hannah was in town this week, so we went to an old favorite lunch place, Antiquity Rose. Located in downtown Excelsior, Antiquity Rose is a unique place because it is in an old house that’s been converted to an antique shop/cafe. Lace curtains decorate the windows and your bill comes handwritten on old-fashioned receipt paper.
The food has an authentic, homemade feel (and taste) too. This time I had a club sandwich and Hannah had the crab salad on a croissant. Delicious! (For a full menu, click here.)
One of the best things about Antiquity Rose is its location in downtown Excelsior. Excelsior is full of fun shops and is right on Lake Minnetonka, making it a great place for a stroll! Next time you’re in Excelsior, give Antiquity Rose a try!
